It all starts with the material used, in our case, SEEFLEX2925.
This revolutionary material compound was developed in-house to provide the highest level of impact protection. That was on top of being able to perform in various temperatures or weather conditions; meaning it needed to offer stable performance in any condition between -10C and +40C, rain or shine.
Thanks to its unique molecular structure, SEEFLEX2925 has the ability to transform kinetic energy from an impact into thermal energy. As a result, the material offers excellent impact absorption regardless of the circumstances you are riding in. We’ll explain.
The power of SEEFLEX™ is more than just a choice of material. The magic is in the structure in which the protectors perform under impact. SEEFLEX™ protectors are shaped to absorb and dissipate force at the same time through internal expansion. The open construction allows the material to expand in on itself under impact, deflecting and reducing any impact energy out away from the protector surface and away from the body, resulting in - and we said it before - exceptional protection under all circumstances and in all conditions.
When we say, “highest level of protection,” it’s easy to think that these protectors come with bulk and discomfort. But you’d be wrong. Due to the combination of material and structure, the SEEFLEX™ protectors remain relatively thin. Furthermore, right where the protectors need to bend in order to let the human anatomy work in its natural way, we’ve incorporated our clever Flex hinge system.
This feature accommodates for freedom of movement without compromising safety. Adding to the comfort of your ride is the open structure that serves a dual purpose: it allows the aforementioned internal expansion that adds to the protection, but it also means you will have full ventilation. When a big part of your body is covered in impact protectors, you’ll be happy to find out that air can circulate without an issue.
Limb protectors are tested according to a specific standard, the EN1621-1:2012 standard for limb protection.
